AgentAura - Run a Private AI Assistant on Your Server 🤖

AgentAura helps you install and manage a supported AI-agent runtime on a compatible Linux server that you provide.

🎯 What is AgentAura?

AgentAura exposes deployment paths according to the current client, build, account, and provider availability. The current Web experience is BYOS: create a public Linux server and have administrator SSH credentials ready before AgentAura checks the connection and guides installation. Some native app builds can also show managed provider-account deployment; that path uses cloud credentials you supply to create resources in your own provider account. The provider, plan, region, and available resource actions shown in the app are authoritative.

✨ What It Provides

🧭 Guided Server Setup

  • Connection checks before installation
  • Guided installation of a supported agent runtime
  • Status and lifecycle controls for the installed agent

🤖 AI Provider Choice

  • Connect a supported AI provider with your own credentials
  • Availability, models, pricing, and data handling depend on that provider
  • Prompts and responses are processed by the provider you select

🔌 Extensible Runtime

  • Add tools and integrations supported by the installed runtime
  • Tool availability and permissions depend on your configuration
  • Review every integration before granting access to sensitive systems

🔐 Clear Ownership Boundaries

  • In Web BYOS mode, you administer the host, SSH access, operating system, firewall, updates, and backups
  • The host bills you separately for compute, storage, traffic, and taxes in either deployment path
  • Removing an agent in BYOS mode does not cancel or destroy its host; managed-resource actions apply only to resources created through that path and require the confirmation shown in the app

📱 Quick Start

  1. Download AgentAura or open the Web experience.
  2. For Web BYOS, create a compatible public Linux server and obtain administrator SSH access. In a native client, use a managed provider-account option only if the current app displays it and you understand the requested cloud permissions.
  3. Complete the installation or managed-deployment flow shown by that client.
  4. Configure your chosen AI provider and review the host, model provider, and integration privacy and billing terms.

🔒 Privacy and Security

Self-hosting gives you control over the server, but it does not make every data flow local. Your host can process infrastructure metadata, and your selected AI or integration providers may process the data sent to them. Secure SSH, restrict network access, apply updates, configure backups, and grant tools only the permissions they need.
